How is plain fabric made?

Plain fabric is a simple, flat-woven textile made by interlacing two sets of yarns at right angles to each other. The yarns that run lengthwise in the fabric are called the warp, while the yarns that run widthwise are called the weft. The process of making plain fabric can be summarized in the following steps:
1.Yarn preparation: The first step in making plain fabric is to prepare the yarn. This involves spinning fibers such as cotton, wool, or silk into yarn, and then winding the yarn onto bobbins.
2.Warping: The next step is to warp the yarn onto a loom. Warping involves winding the yarn onto a large cylinder called a warping beam, which is then transferred to the loom. The yarn is threaded through a series of heddles and reed, which will control the weaving process.
3.Weaving: The actual weaving of the fabric takes place on the loom. The warp yarns are held under tension on the loom, while the weft yarns are woven in and out of the warp yarns using a shuttle. As the shuttle moves back and forth across the loom, it interlaces the weft yarns with the warp yarns to create the plain weave pattern.
4.Finishing: Once the fabric is woven, it goes through a finishing process. This may include washing, dyeing, or printing the fabric to give it the desired color and texture. The fabric is then cut and sewn into the final product.
